Why do you love coaching?

There’s no better feeling than seeing a lightbulb moment in a student, where everything suddenly clicks and you can see their enthusiasm and cofidence instantly rise.

Why do you love playing tennis?

It’s rare to find a largely individual sport that can also be so social, which makes it easy to enjoy regardless of your competitiveness, age, or ability.

Your favourite tennis player and why?

Arthur Fils. Love his big personality, aggressive style, how clutch he is in big moments, and the fact he’s French helps too.

Your favourite shot to coach and why?

The serve. It’s easy to find it intimidating at first but when broken down into its parts, it’s a satisfying process to work through.

Your favourite shot to play and why?

Forehand down the line. You can feel it instantly when you’ve nailed it, and when you do, it often ends up being a winner.
