Why do you love coaching?

I enjoy the social aspect of coaching and the process of breaking down the game of tennis into teachable parts. I like understanding how each player envisions their own game, then helping them improve their weaknesses and build on their strengths. 

Why do you love playing tennis?

I love the challenge that each opponent brings. The need to strategise and adapt to their game, while also managing the internal battle within yourself, is engaging and consumes me. 

Your favourite tennis player and why?

Cam Norrie - he is a good mate of mine and he is a dogged competitor that digs deep for every point. 

Your favourite shot to coach and why?

I enjoy coaching volleys. I feel I I can help players improve their technique quickly and see an immediate impact in their game.

Your favourite shot to play and why?

Forehand crosscourt. Ripping the ball heavy and deep, then adding extra angle to pull them off way off court - what a feeling!
